Less Taxation

The people of our state are over
taxed. Property, income and sales taxes are excessive in light of
what should be collected to support an efficient government. The
level of taxation is burdensome when the hidden taxes levied on electric,
gas and telephone (etc.) are realized.
Daryl Metcalfe has signed the Americans For Tax Reform (ATR) Taxpayer
Protection Pledge and is the state's caucus chair. As a signer, Daryl
Metcalfe has promised to never vote for a tax increase, and has voted
against every proposed tax increase since first being elected to the
Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
Daryl Metcalfe has also introduced legislation to place spending caps on
state government budget increases and voter referendum on property tax
increases. |
